HOW IT WORKS
Shown here are two versions of our exterior drive thru models: the Mothership and the Mothership with attached Teleporter (second drive thru lane). We also offer indoor and outdoor walk-up models and the units can be scaled to fit any product being distributed.
Package Input
The customer orders the made-to-order package online or on an app where they receive a barcoded receipt. This can be a cup of coffee or a bag of dog food and anything in between. After the package is assembled, the employee loads the package into the machine receiving area inside the store, where the machine scans the barcode or QR code on the label. The robotic arm then retrieves the package, lifts it onto the conveyor system, and it is transported over the existing driveway for storage at the designated pickup location.
Package Storage
The package is retrieved from the conveyor and placed on a storage shelf until the customer's arrival. Utilizing location services, the package can be positioned on the most optimal shelf to align with the customer's estimated time of arrival. We also offer the option of heated, chilled, and frozen zones to maintain the product quality until pickup.
Package Delivery
Upon the customer’s arrival, they scan their mobile device to initiate the delivery process. The machine matches the order, retrieves the item from the corresponding shelf, and transfers it to the distribution box. An internal security door opens to allow the package into the delivery chamber, and once the arm retreats and the security door closes, the external delivery door opens to reveal the package. This entire process, from the customer scanning their device to the door opening, takes less than 30 seconds, ensuring fast pickups, shorter lines, and increased customer satisfaction.
